How to extend the service life of the saw blade of cutting machine
Aug 21, 2023During the stone cutting process ,the saw blade base of the stone cutting machine will be easy to experience significant deflection,resulting in increased equipment current and hindering the cutting process.There are two factors influences as below:
1. Deflection caused by deformation in the saw blade base body, often characterized by excessive slit width. To address this, the base body needs to be corrected.
2.Friction between the saw blade base and the rock walls on either side of the cutting path. When the kerf width remains normal and the machine operates smoothly during upper sawing, the current value remains stable. Reducing the feed concentration or adjusting the left and right walking speed won't solve this problem.
In the latter case, the use of cooling lubricant proves effective in resolving the issue. The cooling lubricant forms a thick lubricating film through physical and chemical adsorption on the sawing interface (substrate and sawing surface of the rock). This results in a friction coefficient of 0.38 or higher. By using a cooling lubricant with a 0.2% content, the friction coefficient can be immediately reduced to approximately 0.1. Even after the application of cooling lubricant, the frictional resistance between the base body and the rock wall can be reduced by over 70%. As a result, cutting resistance decreases, improving the stability of the saw blade and minimizing deflection and vibration in the base body. Consequently, the service life of the saw blade is extended.Gantry saw blades cutting machine could also be solved by this way .
